Built to help young riders push on
The Whyte Sythe 27 gives younger riders a bike that feels calm when the trail gets messy. It is built to build confidence, not get in the way of it. From first laps to bike park days, it offers the sort of control that helps riders relax, push a little harder, and enjoy the ride more.
Confidence on rough ground
Whyte has brought the same progressive thinking from its adult Sythe bikes into a frame for riders aged 14 years and up. The 6061 alloy frame uses a tapered head tube, Boost spacing and Shape.it rear end design, with weather-sealing to suit UK conditions. Up front, the RockShox Psylo Gold fork gives 150mm of travel, while the RockShox Deluxe Select RT rear shock keeps things settled when the trail gets wild.
Made to grow with the rider
This is a bike that supports progress. It is tough enough to handle mistakes and responsive enough to reward better lines and cleaner riding. The 27.5in Schwalbe Albert tyres add grip and confidence, while the tubeless-ready Whyte Trail rims help keep the setup trail-focused and practical.
Simple, solid kit
The Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain keeps gear changes straightforward, with a wide-range 11-48T cassette for varied terrain. Stopping power comes from Tektro four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear. A TranzX dropper post and Whyte cockpit finishing kit complete a setup that feels ready for proper riding.
