Pre-Order

With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

Pre-Launch

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

We estimate this will be ready for despatch to you or collection via Click & Collect on Undetermined

Hassle free returns

Returns: We hope everything arrives to you as expected.  If a order(s) is broken or spoiled when it is delivered then you should notify us as soon as possible or in any case within 7 days of delivery, otherwise the returns policy becomes invalid. 

You will have the option of returning the whole order or just the affected items. Please notify us by email on northwestmtb@aol.com or by calling the shop on 0161 428 3311 & include pictures of the damaged box/packet & product and we will deal with it quickly.

Please return using a signed for delivery service like Royal Mail or a Courier that requires a signature on receipt by one of our staff.

For purchased in store products, returns, refunds or exchanges are only available in store using the same payment method as purchase.

All refunds under this returns policy will be paid within 2/5 days of us receiving the merchandise at the shop in it's original packaging to prevent any further damage.

From the company that brought you award winning Titanium Offset Shock Hardware. Burgtec have introduced Titanium Standard Shock Hardware.
At Burgtec we always look to use the best materials possible to enhance your riding experience. That’s why we use Titanium rather than lower grade materials like Brass or Aluminium. By doing this we can increase the durability of the shock hardware and reduce service intervals.

How does it increase longevity?

Manufacturers tend to use Aluminium or Brass for their hardware. This is because they are much cheaper and softer materials to machine than Titanium.

Titanium is a much harder and stronger material (hence why you see Titanium pedal axles and not Aluminium or Brass) so this increases the longevity of the hardware.

We put a super smooth finish on our hardware so that they’ll work even better with our low friction pre-tensioned bushes. The two parts work together to give your bike’s suspension even better performance.

Each kit contains

1 x Titanium Standard Shock Hardware made from the highest Grade 5 Titanium alloy.

1 x Pre-tensioned bush with extremely low friction in dry operations with very low stick and slip effect. Ideally suited to shock hardware.

2 x O-rings to increase the life span of the hardware even further by keeping the crap out.

The Hardware fits Fox, Marzocchi, Rock Shox 08 onwards, Cane Creek but use the DU bushes supplied by Cane Creek.

We do not make it for BOS shocks.
